Leg Cramps and Tongue Piercings...

Not intentional.... and NOT fun!!!  especially at 2am...the leg cramps that is... but my little friend here...

occasionally suffers from the same "flat footed leg cramp" syndrome that I do (I made that up if you had any doubt at all), and last night was Mommy's turn to rub her legs and draw a hot bath at 2am (Daddy took leg duty the night before)...

Now the tongue piercing is a result of chemo, and no, I didn't pierce my tongue, but I do have a hole that has almost completely burrowed through the center of my tongue so that I COULD have a piercing, but I would really just prefer the hole to close up and go away, because it is KILLING me...I'm going to the doctor today and demanding what my friend Melanie calls the "Miracle Mouthwash"...a mix of liquid Lidocaine, Benadryl, Maalox and Nystatin...and if I don't get it...well...let's not even think about that...because I need to lighten up on the Loritab bottle and the Miracle Mouthwash is my only hope...

Wish me luck!  Oh, and let's hope the leg cramps go away too, because "little Heather" needs her sleep!!

Praying for healing for tongues and legs. When I was pregnant, I got horrible leg cramps in the middle of the night. Best remedy I found was to eat at least one banana every day. Guess the potassium helps, I'm not sure. All I know is that if I forgot to eat a banana, I cramped that night.

I am a cronic leg cramp person so I've tried everything - a daily potassium supplement may help you, not sure about Morgan, she may be too young. Baked Potatoes have more potassium than a banana so that may help - or just keep pedialyte on hand, I just about always have some in my fridge. One last gross one - a friend of mine growing up used to say to drink pickle juice - personally I'd rather suffer than do that.

Praying for you all today! The banana a day thing worked for my leg cramps too. It used to make me hop right out of bed in pain.
