1. Make sure you have plenty of coloring books. Your pictures look better by lantern...
2. As soon as Daddy starts the generator, lay in front of the fan (with either your flashlight or your lantern)
3. Move an extra mattress into Mommy and Daddy's room and have everyone bunk in one room with the window a/c unit

EXACT same scenario for our house (only I forgot to take the pictures in the dark...SHUCKS!) except we were out of power until Saturday night....
LOTS of coloring books (we even made a great b-day card for Sydney's cousin), lanterns, fans, a LOUD generator, everyone sleeping in Mommy & Daddy's room, and many pb&j sandwiches and lots of grilling!
