That's all I heard for the few hours these four girls were together - no fighting, no sassiness, no whining, just blissful laughter!
Plus, these four little princesses granted my every whim for pictures - now THAT's heaven! Summer at its finest!

In my quest for simplicity...
I am cleaning out the scrap stuff (as always). But I have a new purpose this time. Dutchtown Primary where Morgan attends school started an art program last year (on a shoe string budget, of course). Morgan LOVES art class. She treasures every single project - especially the bumble bee made from a toilet tisse roll and a coffee filter. Mid-year after a particularly large stash purge, I sent a bundle of "stuff" to the art teacher. She was so genuinely appreciative.
Her requests are so meager, things like: baby food jars with lids, toilet paper rolls, paper towels, markers, coffee filters, glue sticks, crepe paper... that I'm trying even harder this summer. I am going color by color through my paper. Since there may be only a sheet or two of a pattern, I am cutting shapes for her to use in the classroom. For example, out of various greens, I am cutting grass (for spring), dinosaurs, frogs, etc. Then I will move onto another color.
It's a great way to use those supplies that aren't really "New to You" material, but you hate to throw away. Maybe I have inspired you to look through your stash for the good of your children's schools - and if you don't have children, but you find yourself with extra "stuff" - leave me a comment, I'll make sure your "good stuff" gets to Ms. Jackson at Dutchtown Primary!

New $11 KiTs!!!!
They'll be at Scrapbook and Co this week - Wednesday for sure! I tried to be fair and do some male and some female. And I think the third month of kits will be even better - I've been collecting ideas!
First - one of my FaVoRitEs!! "Built Tough" There are 5 kits plus the sample. Oh yes, that is handmade chipboard! Painted, stamped and Modge Podged - lemme hear it...
Then, in honor of all those Dads... "dear dad... I love you..." It's VERY hard for me NOT to use flowers and ribbons on a layout - but I'll get the hang of it... I have seven kits, plus the sample.
Then a really CUTE "Birthday Bash" layout. Room for five 4x6 photos, and the colors are perfect for summer! I have 4 kits plus the sample...
Then I HAVE to indulge myself with some flowers, tulle, bling, ribbon and sweet, tranquil colors... This layout would be perfect for Baptisms, Dance Recitals, Visits with Grandma... That's why I left the title for you (but some brown letters would be perfect!) There are 5 kits and one sample.
Then from the vault of LAST summer's "3 for $33 class", we found two layouts...
The first is "Pool Party". Please ignore the frightful picture of me in a bathing suit. There are two kits - no sample, but a picture is included in each kit. I just LOVE the Bazzill pom poms!
We also found this "Love" layout. Our disorganization is your treasure!! Two kits with pictures - and thankfully WITHOUT me this time!
Denise actually found these, but she has figured out that I will sell anything! Give me a few minutes of rummaging in the storeroom and there is NO TELLING what I will bring out! Just helping boost the sagging economy...
All kits are $11 and the samples are $15. The samples have to stay at Co. for the first week, then you can probably sweet talk Denise into selling them (remind her that you are helping to boost the economy)
Last month there were a few very sad ladies who missed "their" kit. So if you see one that you like, call Scrapbook and Co. and ask them to hold one for you. I'm reviewing the suggestions from everyone for next month's themes. Always feel free to leave suggestions. The winners from last month's contest were Donna B and Kelly D. And no Donna, I haven't forgotten, I just didn't get to Co. last week. But they are in my car this week!
Hope everyone had a good laugh this weekend - and be sure to Laugh Out Loud this week!

The ever practical Avery...
Avery: Mommy, can you call your work and see if you can leave early and pick me up?
Mommy: Um, sure Avery, I'll ask...
Avery: Mommy, WHY do you have to go to work?
Mommy: Because we like to go to Disneyworld and buy new toys and do fun things...
Avery: But Daddy works, why can't he pay for that stuff?
Mommy: Daddy works hard so we can live in this beautiful house and have food to eat and air conditioning...., but Mommy works for the "extras"
Avery: Could you ask Daddy to work harder so you could stay home and we could still go to Disneyworld?
Mommy: I don't think so, Avery. That wouldn't be very fair.
Avery: But you are going to call your work and ask if you can leave early, right?
How can I say no????

WiNNer!!!
So I said I would pull a winner from the $11 kit post on Wednesday - probably should have written that down...
Here are Morgan and Avery EACH choosing a winner from the very VERY sophisticated jar. It was easier to let them both choose a winner than to hear them fight - and plus, I knew you wouldn't complain...
Morgan chose DONNA and Avery pulled KELLY D. Ladies, please send me your home addy, so I can mail your cards to you!
Last night I gathered with some friends for a birthday celebration. Good friends - check. Good food - check. Good scrapbooking - well, two out of three isn't bad!
I managed to eek out a few pages, the only good one is from a kit created by Melanie Hyatt:
I think I am finally finished scrapbooking all of my favorite pictures from the photo shoot with Melonie Ellzey at Once Upon A Time Photography (just a reminder - she rocks! One session fee includes a disk with ALL of your pictures and a copyright release).
Then, my Parkerman's 6 month pictures:
And I finished up with two more Disney pages...
Juts ignore the glare, one day I'll figure out my 3 year old camera!
So Donna and Kelly D - e-mail me and I hope everyone was laughing this weekend!

Still working on Disney...
Here's the Tinkerbell and fairies layout:
I am a firm believer that almost every layout can use a little Heidi...
I LOVE the clear butterflies and the word plates!
For Mother's Day, I used some of the awesome Bo Bunny line that is Scrapbook and Co right now.
Matching paper, stickers AND chipboard swirls - what else could I ask for?
Just finished the second $11 kit for June. It's titled "Dear Dad". Thanks for all the suggestions. Keep 'em coming!

My fashion decision this morning...
Which Volatile's are more dressy? I can't ever work in Corporate America again!
