Sex and the City...
If you didn't see it yesterday - go SEE IT!! Hilarious! I wasn't even a huge SATC fan, and I loved it. Thanks to the "cool kids" who let me crash their Girl's Night Out! And Maggi - thanks for reminding me just how sweet and wonderful my husband is - it was so nice to get a reminder from someone else's perspective.

3 layouts for $33...
Crazy, huh? But every month this summer, I am having a class where you can create 3 2-paged layouts for just $33. I am on a mission to help every scrapbooker get "caught up" this summer. Scrapbooking should never be a chore or another item on your to-do list. If you are finding yourself getting bogged down, join us for this series. Since you can see the layouts ahead of time - you can even come prepared with photos in hand. Please leave comments on layout themes you need - I will use the comments to create July's class. Call Scrapbook and Co. at 225-293-9989 to sign up. I hope to see you on Monday, June 9 from 6-8.
PS - I'm teaching a beginner's class on Tuesday, June 17. Stay posted for more details...
Oh- another thing - If you can't make the class, but want the layouts, call Co. and sign up for a class kit. I always include instructions and pictures of the layouts in the kits.
note - I'm not in love with the "game face" font, so it will probably change...

Finally... back to school and work...
Which means I get a minute to post some pics from our trip to Gulf Shores...
First, Avery, the ham...
Morgan on the slide - all by herself!
"Baby Nick's" first trip to the beach. If any of the adults dared to call him "Nick", all three girls corrected us - it's "BABY NICK". They are SO possessive of him! I'm sure they can't wait until we turn our backs long enough to put lipstick on him!
My big girl....
Poor Hannah - her parents couldn't even buy her a bathing suit! WRONG - she has adorable bathing suits, she prefers the natural look (thankfully she did have a "swimmer" type diaper on)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GiGi - we had a great time celebrating with you!

Stuck at home and not even scrapbooking...
We had a great time at the beach - even with 4 children FOUR AND UNDER.
Only problem - it seems that Avery and I have MRSA (a resistant form of staf infection). On sunday night the after hours doc told us to bathe in HipaCleanse, treat ALL family members for infection (by swabbing the nose twice daily with Bactroban cream), prescribed 14 days of Bactrim for both me and Avery (that's 3 times a day for Avery of the NASTIEST stuff ever created), told me to wash and disinfect EVERYTHING, sanitize the tub after each of our baths, keep warm compresses on Avery's leg at ALL times.
Are you laughing now? I am NOW, but at the time, I was a panicked lunatic! Since then I have seen my GP and Avery has seen the pediatrician, and we were both given a relaxed "sentence". I understand the After hours doc's level of caution - he might only have one chance to fix the problem - so many people don't follow up with primary docs.
So, Avery will go back to school tomorrow and I will finally conquer that work "to do" list that was created before the beach.
Slowly, we'll get back to "normal" - just in time for the Memorial Day Holiday and Morgan's Pre-K Graduation!

Back to the drawing table...
Just meaning that I was able to spend an uninterrupted 29 hours creating during the "2ScrappinChicks" National Scrapbook Day weekend crop. How can paper, pictures and scissors make me so happy? I guess because I have the mentality of a 4 year old! Here's a peak at what I was able to create...
And as you notice the insane amount of "puppy" layouts - let me clear something up - NO WAY, NO HOW are we getting a DOG! It just so happens that Avery is obsessed with them!
