And thank God for those wonderful doctors who cared about you and put you on your road to complete recovery.Kristennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407591154669589499.post-42482024963529291762010-12-30T15:32:55.631-06:002010-12-30T15:32:55.631-06:00I am glad you posted this, because I was wondering...I am glad you posted this, because I was wondering how things happened "so fast" while you were planning your trip to NY. It seemed like one minute I found out you were coming here and couldn't wait to see you, then I was filling your spot, then whamm-o! your diagnosis.
One of these days, when we do get together, remind me to tell you about Dr. Q, the surgeon/saint that saved the life of my then-3 day old daughter Kelly, the same girl who is now looking at colleges...he is one small step below the Pope in my book!
I hope that you are feeling good and fighting hard! Sending you hugs and positive thoughts!!!!
xoxo, SusanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407591154669589499.post-69011385389548687272010-12-30T09:20:27.127-06:002010-12-30T09:20:27.127-06:00I've actually been waiting and hoping for this...I've actually been waiting and hoping for this post. I've been wondering (for the past month) how things went from "laughing on speakerphone in the car, after Melting Pot" to "chemo and cancer meds". Now, I get it.Marsellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00894185122787414382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407591154669589499.post-33295138151454535992010-12-30T08:30:14.723-06:002010-12-30T08:30:14.723-06:00I'm totally impressed (and also very thankful)...I'm totally impressed (and also very thankful) by/for your doctors! My experiences with doctors/hospitals have not been nearly so positive, so to hear about your situation helps restore my faith in some of them. I was beginning to think they were average "Joes", guessing what was wrong with people & working in cahoots with the drug companies (because my doctors wanted to try every new fangled prescription drug under the sun on me). You have indeed minimized my pessimism when it comes to medical professionals!

BTW, it sounds like you have a great husband & sister, too! Their persistence also saved your life.Paula Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10266298442325797559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407591154669589499.post-71160490075709739772010-12-30T08:25:47.066-06:002010-12-30T08:25:47.066-06:00Thank God for great doctors and nurses! Some doctors might have given you just what you wanted in that ER and gone about their business but I'm glad this one didn't. I think this Dr. is EXTRA special.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06019664838752734522noreply@blogger.com
